Hey thanks for stopping by, I'm Rick currently in Virginia. I'm a country music singer and songwriter with influencing genres including Country, Rock, Pop, Gospel and Christian.
When I was 15 I begged my parents to buy me an acoustic guitar at a garage sale (I think it was $2). I knew absolutely nothing about guitars, but I knew I wanted to learn. Hundreds of trips to the library later, I was finally able to play a song (yes, a library, you see we didn't have the internet, YouTube, or these really cool learning apps back then) and BOOM the birth of my music "career."
Today I find myself writing and singing more than I ever have. Whether it's singing the National Anthem at a sporting event, on a small stage playing a local gig, in the studio, or at an open-mic; I've never been happier!
